Faith is like hoisting the sails when there is no wind, expecting wind to blow.

Hope is like the anchor to hold the ship in place through a storm.

Faith is when a child jumps into a father’s arms, knowing their father with catch them.

Hope is the life-preserver God gives us to cling to in the water, His light to see and follow in the dark, and His voice to hear and follow in the fog.

Faith is holding on to the preserver until we are pulled in, and following the light and voice of hope.

Hope is almost like an object in the distance you can focus on, giving you a reason to move in faith.

Faith and hope are only as good as the object or person in which you place them.

When your faith and hope feel too small, remember you only need a little and you know the God who can grow them into massive trees.
