Faith is important, but the object of your faith is more important. Your faith is only as good as what you put it in. You can have all the faith in the world, but if the object of your faith isn’t any good, your faith won’t be either.
God calls people to have faith in Him. Since God is good and all-powerful, if you have faith in Him your faith will be good. When you first come to God, your faith doesn’t even have to be perfect. God will make it more perfect as you walk with Him. Faith is meant to grow (Luke 17:5-6), and it grows through testing (James 1:2-6).
So for the believer in Christ, the object of your faith (God) is actually who helps you have better faith!
