It is the day after Christmas and all through the house, it might be a mess.

But that’s okay. We’ve spent time with family and friends. We’ve talked about God’s greatest gift, Jesus. We’ve opened presents. We’ve eaten more food than we should have. And we should all be thankful and content.

Yes, a new year is coming, but there’s no need to get over what God has already done. Take a look at how Christmas has gone for you. Take a look at how this year has already gone. Look at what God has done. Find the good and praise Him.

Some Scripture comes to my mind: Psalm 107:8-15, specifically all the verses in the chapter that say, “Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!”
