There will be plenty of times in life where we won’t understand why God has said something. But understanding isn’t the point; obedience is the point.
Obedience must often come before understanding. You don’t always understand until you go do what you were told. Obedience must also often come before feeling. Sometimes you may not feel like doing something, but you do it anyway and find that you feel something now.
Sometimes even when you obey, you still won’t understand or feel like it. But the point is still obedience. God knows what He’s doing. And you have grace from Him! Remember, grace isn’t the reward for obedience, it is the motivation for obedience.
Obey God’s commands. You may not understand, but you will be better for it.
