A few days ago I was talking with some friends about repentance. Repentance means changing your mind about something. Then someone mentioned how you need to repent of your good works as much as your sinful ones. That’s true. Anyone’s righteousness before God, even their best, is still considered filthy rags (Isaiah 46:6). I had never really thought of it in so many words until then.
