This time of year a lot of us have new technology or toys to set up. Sometimes that’s as simple as popping in some batteries and learning a few buttons, sometimes it’s as complicated familiarizing yourself with a new program layout and transferring files.
While sometimes we have these new things just because they’re cool, a lot of the time they are meant to improve on the old, to make things a little easier on us as we move forward. Sometimes we need to do that metaphorically in our lives. Something new comes along, like a new experience, a new way of doing things, or a new way of thinking and perspective, and we need to integrate it into our lives going forward. It might take a little setup, but if it’s really there to make things better, then it will be worth the time taken.
