We call them the Shoes of Peace, but let’s not forget that Paul says “the preparation of the gospel of peace.” These shoes are for peace and readiness. These shoes are for you to wear so you can readily share the gospel, the good news! These shoes are for steady ground-standing, AND they are for advancing on the enemy’s lines!
When you get ready to go somewhere, you put shoes on. You put on the shoes that are best suited for what you’ll be doing. You do this so you will be ready.
You don’t need shoes if you aren’t going anywhere.
We have shoes. They are made for going.
