Every person has their own view of the world, their own glasses they look through. To reach them, you might need to try on their glasses, figure out how they see.
You often need to meet people where they are at to figure out how to interact with them. If someone’s view of a topic is different from yours but you talk as if you are both thinking the same thing, you’ll both be confused and probably offended. Take some time to listen and understand each other, it will make things much easier and you both might learn something new.
