If you disobey in the little things, you will disobey in the big things.
Faithfulness and patience go together. Unfaithfulness and impatience go together.
You cannot be honest with others, including God, if you are dishonest with yourself.
It doesn’t take a “serious” sin to get on a slippery slope. Having a ledger of “safe” sins will make it much easier to slip. A bunch of little things add up to a lot.
Liberty in Christ does not mean license to sin. Believers were once dead in sin, and now we are dead to sin.
How do you treat people that you don’t like to be around, those people you disagree with, those people who have done things you don’t dare talk about, those people with addictions, those people living lives of sin? Even if I don’t treat them like anything because I avoid them, that’s still not correct. Jesus has called me to bring His love and Gospel to everyone. Just like He didn’t wait for us to pay for it at least a little before He showed us kindness, we shouldn’t do that to people either.
No one but God has any right or authority to judge another’s heart and motives.
