I was looking through some notes again, and found a few to think about.

Jesus is always with you. Where do you take Him?

The people in the Bible had struggles, too. They are not stained-glass saints that didn’t struggle like we do.

If you’re not getting into God’s Word, then God’s Word is not getting into you.

What God says is what the Bible says, and what the Bible says is what God says. So if you say, “God told me…” then it had better be in line with the Bible.

Often when we talk about repentance we talk more about non-believers than we do believers, but we believers need repentance, too!

If you’re not right with God, what makes you think you’ll be clear and free with evangelism? You can’t breathe out until you breathe in.

Sometimes we think we would give our lives for the cause of Christ in the sense that we would die for it, but we often don’t give our lives in the sense that we live for Christ’s cause!

There is no amount of suffering that can exhaust God’s grace, mercy, and glory!

If you don’t believe in God’s goodness and help when the sun is shining and life is good, then you won’t believe and trust Him when the storm comes and life is dark.

In Hebrews 12:1 we are told to get rid of excess weight. It doesn’t matter what the weight is, what matters is that it hinders you from running. You can be weighed down by good things that you don’t need while you’re running.

Sometimes having faith isn’t standing resolute, sometimes it’s being afraid with your knees knocking together but going in God’s direction anyway.
