In case you need to hear (or read) some things, here they are:

Sometimes taking a short break will save you more time than pushing through. Instead of just sitting there and trying to power through a problem, you might just need a few minutes away so you can come back to it fresh and ready.

Listen to the people who truly care about you and know you well. They can see things about you that you sometimes can’t, and can bring your attention to something important that you wouldn’t have caught until it might be a little late.

It’s okay to say no.

It’s okay to say yes.

It’s okay to say you want to think about it first.

You can just quit, but if you’re going to you should be sure that quitting is the right thing to do.

If something makes you uncomfortable, you should talk about it with someone.

Sometimes talking about your problems with a trusted friend doesn’t always fix them, but it does make you feel better so you can face your problems with fresh strength until it’s time for them to be over.

Sometimes you can’t fix your friend’s problems, but you can be there and walk with them through the tough times.

Praying does more good than you think, whether you aren’t sure it does or whether you’re absolutely certain God will take care of things.
