I’ve had a few things on my mind lately, and in case you wanted to read them I’ll put them here.
Whether it’s a sin or a virtue, it is unhealthy to deny something about yourself or pretend it isn’t there. Denying a sin means you won’t confront and get rid of it. Denying a virtue means you won’t do the right things in accordance with it.
When God saves us, He gives us Second Life, a life after this one is over. That second life is not made for us to live a double life.
The more I see people trying to make it on their own and the more I ask people around me for help, the more I realize just how much we all need the village, and the more I realize we need to be the village. We’re not made to forge ahead without help or live our lives without being there for others; we need each other.
God says, “I love you,” to people He knows will never love Him back. No one ever goes unloved, but they can go unloving.
