In the two and three year old class yesterday, the teacher was talking about the paralyzed man whose friends let him down through a roof to get to Jesus. These men believed so certainly that Jesus would help.
As an example of how much they believed, the teacher looked at one of the kids and talked about how he trusts his dad. If this boy were to stand on a table and his dad said to jump, he knows his daddy loves him so he had no doubt his dad would catch him. That’s how much those men believed in Jesus.
That’s how much we should believe Jesus whenever He asks us to jump in faith. He loves us, so why wouldn’t He catch us? He is God’s Son, so He also has full ability and will not miss or let us slip.
