This post was inspired by what a teacher said in Sunday School yesterday.

Sometimes when God calls us to do something, we come up with all the reasons why we can’t or shouldn’t. We do it as if God doesn’t know our past or our minds and hearts.

“But God, I’ve done this thing.”
“But God, I still have a problem with this.”
“Look, God, I know You know, but I don’t think you really know.”
“God, I don’t have the ability. I literally can’t.”

To all of these God says, “I know.” God looks at us and says, “You’re right, you can’t. But I’m not asking you to do this in your strength; I am doing this in My strength through you.”

Note to self: God knows exactly who He is calling. He knows exactly what He is doing. The result is up to Him. It’s up to me to obey right when God gives the command.
