When we get saved, we become the children of God. God adopts us (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:5; 1 John 3:1).

When you look at people’s children, they have a tendency to resemble their parents, whether in appearance or behavior. That’s how we should be as the children of God. When people look at us, they should be able to tell Whose children we are.

That means we should be peace makers like our God (Matthew 5:9). We should love who God loves (Matthew 5:43-45).

So let’s take a look at ourselves. Do we look like our Daddy?
