Some people love following instructions. Some people hate it. Some people use instructions more as guidelines. But there are times when instructions must be followed exactly or you will not get the intended result.
For example, sometimes when baking or making candy, if you decide to change one little ingredient, measurement, temperature, or even mixing technique, you can ruin the entire batch. Sometimes it might still turn out okay, maybe even good, but it won’t be the intended result.
God’s instructions are even more important to follow. When God instructs you to do something, it is for your good and the good of others. And not just good, the best! Which means if you change anything or disregard a step, you are actually making it less good. God loves you, so don’t for one second think that His instructions won’t turn out great.
