When you live your life according to God’s will and His specific plan for your life, there will be some people who will encourage you to follow God with all your heart. They will see God working in your life. They will readily be there to help you. But there will also be some people who will doubt that you are doing what God says. They may think that you are doing it wrong. They may question you, and may cause you to question God or whether you have actually heard Him.
But no matter which kind of person you may be experiencing, your walk with God is not for them. People see your life and will learn from it, but ultimately your walk is not for them. It is for God. Your life is for God’s glory. It isn’t for anyone else.
When God tells you to do something, do it. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks – good or bad. You may be tested by scoffers, but remember that God’s opinion is the only one that matters. And while God does give you people to encourage you, remember that God’s opinion is the only one that matters.
Your life is just for God. He is developing a very special and specific relationship with you. The God of the universe who created you is relating to and with you. Your life is just for God, and that is a very deep, special, good thing.
