More Wisdom Notes

I felt like sharing more of the notes that I keep. I pray that it’s helpful.

Self-control is restraint for the purpose of purity, exalting God and not yourself.

If you get unexpected money, stop and ask God who it is for. Ask God what He wants you to do with it.

God never gives you bad things. Even if what you have been given feels and seems bad, God has goodness within it to give you.

Asking God to be thorough with you is a very serious thing. (Psalm 139:23-34)

Because Christ is in you, you have all of His power and strength available to you!

God gives you wisdom, revelation, and knowledge. His power is what works in us. (Ephesians 1:17-19)

One from a strong, believing man in Lebanon: “You can’t go fight Satan and expect him to give you a kiss.”

Until you see Jesus in the mirror every morning, you’ve got a long way to go.

We need to deal with our issues, not hide them or ignore them.

Persistent prayer develops and changes us. Persistent prayer purifies our prayers. Persistent prayer keeps our relationship with God fresh and alive! It is a privilege, not a pain!
