Sometimes you think you can handle something or someone. This problem? You’ve got this. You know how to handle it.
But you don’t actually know. You can’t handle it. But you try anyway, and sometimes we ignore God while trying. We pray and say, “Please help me with this problem,” but sometimes God’s answer is, “Give the problem to Me.”
“But can’t you just give me the ability to handle it myself?”
“Release it. I will take care of it.”
“But…”
“Give it to Me. Release it.”
Once you release it, God will take care of it. Trust Him; He knows what He’s doing even if you don’t. It’s okay. He promised.
On the other hand, sometimes you can handle something. You’ve done this before, and you can do this again. Sometimes we don’t even talk to God about it. Sometimes we do. But either way sometimes God will still say, “Release it to Me.”
“But I know exactly how to handle this one, God. We did this before, remember?”
“I am taking it this time.”
“But You let me do it last time.”
“I know. I remember. Give it to Me this time.”
Once you release it, God will take care of it. Trust Him; He knows what He’s doing even if you don’t. It’s okay. He promised.
