Sometimes you feel like you need to choose between the devil you do know and the devil you don’t. But you don’t have to choose between them, you can tell them both no. There’s no sense in choosing which fire to burn yourself on when you don’t even have to touch the fire at all.

Harmony is not just someone else’s responsibility, it’s very much yours also, and sometimes it’s your responsibility first. Someone else might make harmony difficult, but that doesn’t absolve you of your responsibility in it.

Sometimes you are the villain in your own story, whether you tell it that way or not. You need to realize when you’re being the bad guy, then fix it.

Joy doesn’t depend on your circumstances, it depends on your focus. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

If the task set before you is a God task, then you can’t do it with human strength. When God calls you to a task, He will see to it that you get all the help you need, whether human or divine. Trust God to know which part is your responsibility and which part is His, then do your part while He does His.
