God has a standard for our behavior. Whether you are a Christian or not, there is a standard.
The standard is perfection.
God is completely, entirely good and absolutely holy – the holiest. Sin is not allowed in His presence due to His very nature. So we’re certainly in trouble. That is why Jesus came. So we have the ability to stand clean before God, with all our sins forgiven and forgotten.
But there is still a standard for how you behave in the King’s name.

But remember you aren’t expected to do this in your own power, because you can’t. God is always there.
