Trusting and Responding at Full Speed

In the past couple of years I have regularly been around a few dogs. One of these dogs absolutely loves to chase squirrels. He could be sound asleep and if you whisper the word squirrel, he’ll jump up and bolt for the door.

This is what has gotten me thinking: this dog doesn’t have to see the squirrel, he just knows there is one because someone said so. He doesn’t have to see the squirrel, he’ll find it when he gets there.

This is how fast I would like to respond to God. When God tells me something I want to immediately respond and start going in the direction He says. I don’t have to see what’s there; God has already told me what it is so I know I’ll see it when I get there.
