If you’ve been here a while, you know I take notes. I write them down on paper and I type them in my phone. Usually I share notes from one or the other, but I’m sharing combo notes today.
Church is not a spectator sport.
Faithfulness to God does not grant exemption from suffering. 1 Peter 2:20-25; Hebrews 12:1-3
Tithing is not the ceiling of giving.
The tithe is not a protection fee.
God is not safe, but He is our safe place.
If the task is a God task, you can’t do it with human strength.
Come to God as you are, but realize that He loves you too much to want you to leave the same way.
Sometimes with all the noise in our lives, the voice that drowns out God the most is our own. If we want to hear God, sometimes we just need to be quiet.
