Working for God is a huge responsibility and a huge privilege. Here are a few things about that.
When you believe in God and love Him, you’ll find that working for Him is a lot easier than you thought. It can be difficult at times, but God is the boss who will get into the trenches with you. At the same time, don’t wait for God to do your work for you. Trust the Holy Spirit to enable you to do the work. While there are times when only He can do the work, He still has something for you to do in obedient participation.
Work for God that is not sustained by wonder at God is a weariness of the flesh.
1 John 3:18 – We have to do it, not just talk about it!
Do we pray or do we work? Both! We are to have both dependent prayer and disciplined work. Like the two wings on an airplane, we need both dependence and discipline.
You can do no work of eternal value without Christ.
