In church last night we talked about obedience, and these are a couple things I wrote down:

You have to know the rules to obey them.
If I don’t know the speed limit, I can’t adjust my speed for it. I can make an assumption based on what I’ve experienced on other roads, but that doesn’t mean I’m right.

You don’t have to have the right motives to obey, but it certainly helps if you do!
Going the speed limit because you don’t want to get a ticket is still obedience, but it’s not as good as going the speed limit for the safety of those around you.
