The past is something good to look back on now and then to remind us of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and how far we’ve come, but it isn’t a good place to focus. If you want to go forward, you can’t do that very well when you’re always looking behind you. It doesn’t matter whether the past was good or bad, we need to look forward to move forward.
